to welcome our new pastors
David and April Cobb

Pastor David and April come to us from Purpose Place Christian Center in Surprise, Arizona where David served as Senior Pastor. We are excited about the many God-given gifts that both David and April bring with them to LGF.

David has a heart to serve people and train them according to the Word of God, and truly believes that relating to the people he pastors is of the utmost importance. Because David began his career as a youth pastor, and has been a music pastor, an associate pastor as well as a senior pastor, he has the ability to see a ‘big picture’ when thinking about church growth.

April has a passion for encouraging the women in her church and around her to find their gift in the body of Christ and to confidently walk in it. She has established small groups within her church and she loves being involved with her community.

I was raised in a Christian home and my belief in Christ, although immature, began at eight years old. My father was first a deacon and then later became an elder of our church. My grandparents were missionaries in Brazil, working in the Amazon.

After having many questions about Christ in my teens and twenties, God revealed Himself in His glory to me through many answered prayers, miracles and salvations that I could no longer deny the path that God has for me. The truth of my faith, that small seed planted in an eight year old boy so many years ago, had just smacked me right between my eyes. God had called me to be so much more than I was. Christ called me to be a missionary, just like my grandparents!

I was called to start By Faith Productions in 2005 as a nonprofit in order to further the message of Jesus using Christian Music and Media. That mission is still operating today and bringing Jesus to the unchurched all over our community and beyond.

Today I am the Lead Pastor and CEO of Living Grace Fellowship, called for a season, in a time that I believe will be a time of great growth. I believe that LGF is a seed church, with an exponential opportunity for growth. I’m excited to be part of that growth!

 

Pastor Bobby Hart
Senior Pastor of Pastoral Covering

Pastor Bobby has been called to LGF to serve as the Senior Pastor of Pastoral Covering over the Congregation. His beautiful wife Joy is a blessing to all she meets, and just knowing her will bring YOU Joy! Pastor Bobby brings with him a rich history and experience that is a blessing to our church.

Pastor Bobby accepted the Lord at the age of 13. He earned his Bachelor of Science in 1973 at Golden Gate University in San Francisco. In 1978 he studied Homiletics at Bay Cities Bible College in Oakland. And then in 1978-1979 he majored in Theology at Simpson’s Theological Seminary in San Francisco. He received his Masters Degree in Christian Education at Charles Mason College in Los Angeles in 1999.

Pastor Bobby was called into the ministry in 1979 and was ordained in 1980 at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. Over the years he has Pastored at several different churches in many different capacities. Most recently he was the Senior Pastor at King Solomon Baptist Church.
